Cowley College All-American wrestlers Evan Rodriguez and Jaxon “Scout” Trotter were selected to compete at the U.S. Open Championships April 22-26 at The Expo at World Market Center in Las Vegas, NV. The tournament is considered one of the toughest on U.S. soil.

Putting a cap on a dominating run through the Jayhawk Conference, the No. 10-ranked Cowley College wrestling team defeated Neosho County 52-0 and host Barton County 41-9 on Thursday in Great Bend, KS. With the wins, the Tigers captured the program’s second conference title and first since 2020, going 7-0 in conference duals.
